关于我

中国岩画研究中心始建于1992年,创始人为我国著名岩画专家陈兆复教授。中国岩画研究中心是国际岩画组织联合会的会员组织之一,主要从事中国境内岩画资料搜集整理及学术研究工作,也密切关注世界岩画研究事业的最新动态。中国岩画研究中心现任主任张亚莎教授是国际岩画组织联合会的中国代表,国际史前及原史科学协会会员。同时,也是《岩画研究》(澳大利亚)、《文学和艺术研究期刊》(美国)等国际学术期刊的评审人。张亚莎教授的主要学术研究领域为艺术史、藏族艺术和岩画。目前,中国岩画研究中心每年招收3名硕士研究生和1—2名博士研究生

中央民族大学中国岩画研究中心和内蒙古岩画研究院诚挚邀请您参加2012年中南岩画研讨会。

2012年中南岩画研讨会将于20121010日至1020日在中国北京中央民族大学召开,中央民族大学中国岩画研究中心和内蒙古岩画研究院共同主办。

本次学术会议主题是:原始符号与意象思维——中非岩画的互动与交流。这一主题突出体现了中南双方对共享岩画研究发展成果的美好心愿。会议将通过主旨演讲、主题讨论和田野调查等一系列活动,提供实现这一美好心愿的有效途径。

中国内蒙古自治区巴彦淖尔市是闻名遐迩、雄伟壮丽的阴山岩画群的所在地。研讨会期间我们将前往巴彦淖尔市,对阴山岩画群开展田野调查,并就内蒙古岩画进行新一轮的学术研讨。

2、中非岩画学术研究合作意向的探讨

中国岩画研究中心与南非岩画研究机构探讨国际合作方式与内容:如联合开展岩画田野调查、研究成果共享、研究生培养、双方互访及讲学、举办国际学术会议等(会议期间,双方可签订正式的合作文本,时间拟定于参观第二日即1013日午后的休息时间)。

31013日下午为2012中国岩画研究中心特约研究员工作会议(工作会议结束后,中方特邀研究人员离会)。

The Rock Art Research Association of China (RARAC) of Minzu University of China (MUC) and the Rock Art Institute of Inner Mongolia (RAIIM) cordially invite you to attend the 2012 China-South Africa Rock Art Symposium.

 

Co-hosted by the Rock Art Research Association of China (RARAC) of Minzu University of China (MUC) and the Rock Art Institute of Inner Mongolia (RAIIM), the China-South Africa Rock Art Symposium 2012 will be held in Minzu University of China (MUC), Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, between 10 and 20 October 2012.

 

The overarching theme of the symposium is Primitive Symbol and Imagist Mentality --- Interaction and Communication of Chinese-African Rock Art, which highlights both Chinese and South African sides’ nice wishes for sharing the development achievements of scientific research of rock art. The symposium is designed to provide an effective way to realize the nice wishes of both sides by organizing a series of events including keynote speeches, oral presentations and topic discussions.

 

A rock art fieldtrip will be organized during the symposium in Bayannur, Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, a city renowned as its well-known and magnificent Yinshan petroglyphs cluster, where a new round of academic discussions concerning Inner Mongolia’s rock art will be conducted.

 

The working languages of the symposium are Chinese and English. Please submit the return receipt with the abstract of your oral presentation and full paper (soft copy) to Mr. Yang Qinglin via yqlljx@gmail.com by 10th July and 30th August, 2012, respectively.

China-South Africa Rock Art Symposium 2012

 

I. Theme

 

Primitive Symbol and Imagist Mentality --- Interaction and Communication of Chinese-African Rock Art

 

II. Time

 

October 10 --- 20, 2012 (Registration Date: October 10, 2012)

 

III. Duration: 10 days

 

i. Two-and-a-half days of sessions in Beijing

 

ii. One-and-a-half days of tourist visits to Beijing’s ancient cultural sites

 

iii. Six days of rock art fieldtrip (including two days of round trip)

 

IV. Attendees

 

i. South-African delegates: 9 persons

 

ii. Contract research fellows of RARAC: 16 persons

 

iii. Rock Art Institute of Inner Mongolia’s delegates: 3-4 persons

 

iv. Rock art researchers from various rock art sites of China: 10-12 persons

 

V. Schedule

 

i. China-Africa rock art symposium

 

(a). Keynote speeches: two persons (Chinese and African representatives). An oral keynote speech will involve 30 minutes maximum of the verbal presentation followed by 10 minutes of discussion with the audience (including interpretation).

 

(b). Paper presentations and discussion: approximately 25 persons. Paper oral presentations will involve 20 minutes maximum of the verbal presentation followed by 5 minutes of discussion with audiences (including interpretation).

 

ii. Discussion on intention of China-Africa prospective joint research

 

The collaborative forms and contents between RARAC and RARI will be discussed as follows: to conduct joint rock art fieldwork, to share research achievements, to implement joint-postgraduate programs, to pay exchange visits and to lecture, to co-organize international conferences, etc. During the symposium, the official cooperation memorandum of understanding will be signed, with the tentative date scheduled amid the break in the afternoon of October 13, 2012.

 

iii. Annual RARAC’s Contract Research Fellow Working Conference will take place in the afternoon of October 13, 2012, after which a portion of Chinese attendees will conclude their conferece and depart.

 

iv. Beijing’s cultural tours

 

(a). Day One: The Summer Palace

 

(b). Day Two: The Palace Museum & The Great Wall

 

v. Rock art fieldtrip

 

Rock art fieldwork will be conducted between October 15 and 20, 2012, in Bayannur, Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region.

 

VI. Closing

 

The symposium will conclude in the evening of October 20, 2012. The return day of African delegates can be decided on their own in light of their actual conditions.
